Bright Moments, Venice, during the Venice Biennale
Bright Moments Finale closed a three-year tour of Bright Moments galleries, from New York to Tokyo, with a last exhibition in Venice during the 2024 Biennale, from 20 to 22 April, at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni. Sixty artists who had shaped its story each wrote a new on-chain work for a single shared collection of 1,000 pieces, minted in person in Venice.
It was my third collaboration with Bright Moments, after INTRICADA and The Destination. My contribution is a slowly turning kaleidoscope: symmetrical forms that fold and unfold on a paper-coloured ground, each edition with its own palette and motifs. Fourteen of the thousand Finale pieces are mine.
